Dear Grandad

Isn't it amazing how time can fly by, and so many things can happen... and by the time you stop to think, a year has gone by to the very day?

You asked us all a lot of questions the last time i saw you, and i am so sorry i never got the time to answer them all. Well, thats why i decided to write them out here.

I passed my A levels and i made it into university. I honestly didn't think i would do it, but... i did. I know you'll be proud of that. Talking of universities, dad formally graduates on the 8th September. He received his results just last week, and he got a 2:2... mum and i are so proud of him, he has done amazingly. :)

Vietnam was a wonderful experience. We saw a lot of sights, and a lot of people that amazed us and humbled us. We took enough pictures to fill 3 issues of national geographic i think... and i think between mum, dad and i, we look at those pictures every week.

I'm currently in Germany, where dad used to live. I guess I'm following in his footsteps, working and learning as i go. It's so much fun, the mountains are breathtaking when you can see them... just today they've disappeared behind the clouds.

I just wanted to make sure that you know you won't ever be forgotten, really. I told you to save me a place, i hope you did, and i hope its gonna stay available until i need it! :P Your family thinks about you every day, and we love you.
